Nanny in Dacorum (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m Tilly, I’m 24 and I’m a qualified Nursing Associate, having completed my Foundation Degree in Nursing Associate in June 2026. I currently work within a paediatric hospital setting, where I care for children and young people with a range of medical, complex and mental health needs. I’m compassionate, patient, responsible and enjoy building trusting relationships with children and their families. I’ve recently moved to Hemel Hempstead with my partner.
Alongside my hospital work, I’m keen to return to nannying as I previously really enjoyed working as a private nanny and found caring for children incredibly rewarding. I plan to continue working at the hospital as bank staff, but I would love the opportunity to combine this with nannying again. I’m confident caring for children of different ages, supporting their individual routines and needs, and providing a safe, nurturing and enjoyable environment.
My Experience
I have several years of experience working with children and families, both within the NHS and as a private nanny. I currently work as a qualified Nursing Associate on a paediatric ward, where I provide compassionate, family-centred care to children and young people with a variety of acute, chronic, complex and neurological conditions. My role has given me extensive experience in safeguarding, recognising when a child may be unwell, supporting children with additional physical and mental health needs, communicating with families and working as part of a wider team.
Before my nursing career, I worked as a private nanny caring for three children aged 1, 6 and 12. I was responsible for their daily routines, meals, school runs, activities, homework, bedtime and overnight care. I particularly enjoyed building strong relationships with the children and creating fun, age-appropriate activities while making sure they felt safe, happy and cared for. CV NEW.docx
I really enjoyed my time as a nanny and would now like to return to childcare alongside my hospital bank work. I feel my nursing experience has given me additional confidence, responsibility and knowledge when caring for children.
