About Me
We are a professional couple in Tufnell Park working in medicine and tech. We have two sons aged 3 years and 5 years and a five year old labrador. Looking for an afterschool nanny starting in September.
My Requirements
Looking for a nanny/governess type person who lives locally to help for 20 hours per week. Duties will include collecting the boys from school, light housework e.g. tidying, laundry, running errands, walking the dog, preparing dinner etc. Would love someone active who’s happy to run around with them. Dog lover essential. Likely extra ad hoc hours available if desired e.g. baby sitting, the occasional morning or weekend when one of us is travelling for work etc.

Jo has been caring for my son since he was five months old. She is responsible, organised and above all exceptionally caring. My son clearly adores her and loves spending time in her home. She takes time to understand a child's individual needs and then build them into the plan for the day, organising fun, age appropriate activities that all the children can participate in. She sends photos and updates during the day, and keeps a log of food/sleep/nappies which I've found very helpful when adjusting to time away from my son.
We did a significant amount of research including several meetings and trials with other childcare providers before choosing to go with Jo and my husband and I couldn't be happier with our choice. While her setting might not be the largest of the places that we looked at it, is filled with love and laughter and provides everything that our son needs.
