My Summary
About Me
Hi! I'm Eleanor and I am an Ofsted registered nanny. I love spending time with my wife and our little boy. We like going for walks in the countryside, being by the sea and exploring new places.
I enjoy reading and I am keen for my little boy to enjoy this as well - he joined the library at 3 weeks old and was their youngest member! I love reading Julia Donaldson books to him in particular.
I enjoy doing craft such as painting, cross-stitch and pottery. I enjoy photography as well and did my degree in this.
A typical day in the life of me as a nanny would be a trip out somewhere - be that the park, the library, the garden centre, to feed the ducks, to the farm; I think it's good to get out somewhere every day. Stories of course are a daily occurance! Lastly play. Play is the staple of every day. Children are only little once and I hope to make their days as fun as possible!
My Experience
First and foremost I'm a Mum to a gorgeous little boy. He is 2 years old and is my absolute world. He is a funny and laid back little boy, he loves other children a lot, I would need to bring him to work with me.
I am currently a nanny to two lovely girls who are 4 and 8 years old. I have been with them for a year now. I currently have availability during school hours from Wednesday to Friday. From September I will have availability during school hours 4 days a week.
My previous nanny position was for two years and I was responsible for looking after two children (aged 1 and 3 at the beginning of my time with them).
I have over 10 years experience working with children aged 0-11. I have worked in a Primary School as a Learning Support Assistant. As an LSA I worked with a child who was on the Autistic Spectrum and had speech and language difficulties. I also provided whole class support.
