About Me
Two Children (Ages 3 & 5), two professional adults in full-time work. We’re a friendly family in Meppershall.
My Requirements
We're looking for reliable nanny to provide full-time holiday cover and wrap-around care during term time for our two children.
Hours (Monday–Friday)
School holidays (approx. 17 weeks per year): 6:30am–6:30pm
Term time (wrap-around care):
Morning: 6:30am–9:00am (school drop-off at 8:30am)
Afternoon: 3:00pm–6:30pm (school pick-up at 3:30pm)
School drop off is in Bedford with travel time covered in salary, a 26 plate car will be provided along with insurance and fuel.
Key Responsibilities
• Day-to-day childcare, including children’s routines (washing/bathing as needed, dressing, etc.)
• Meal preparation and planning for the children (healthy meals and snacks)
• Planning and leading age-appropriate activities (indoor/outdoor), especially during school holidays
• School runs (drop-off and pick-up)
• Homework support for our oldest (Year 2 from September)
• Keeping children’s areas tidy and completing light child-related duties
What We’re Looking For
• Experienced nanny/childcarer, reliable and organised
• Ideally a background in Early Years education (or strong Early Years experience)
• Clean driving licence (a car will be provided for work use; you must be comfortable driving)
• Confident supporting learning through play and helping with early primary homework
• We are not looking for a nanny share
• Ideally someone with a local nanny network (e.g., happy to arrange playdates/outings with other local nannies and children)

Michelle has been looking after our daughter 9-5, 5 days a week for over a year. She started to look after our daughter when she was 6 months old.
I highly recommend Michelle to anyone, she very quickly became part of our family. She is brilliant with our daughter, she always has something fun planned for the day. She has an amazing local network so our daughter is always able to spend time with other children. Michelle is able to take her to the classes we had signed up for and has even found some amazing toddler groups to take her too. As a result we get all the socialisation benefits nursery brings with the extra benefit of 121 care.
Michelle’s expereince is brilliant especially when it comes to spotting early sign of illness (chickenpox etc) and helping maintain routines. Nothing is too much trouble, she takes care of all the general admin and chores which come with looking after a little one – her washing, cleaning bottles food prep etc.
Michelle is very reliable and flexible, it would not have been possible to go back to work without her!
I am very confident you will love Michelle, I feel very fortunate to have found her given some of the challenges I have heard from other mums!
As family members and friends tell us, we are lucky to have her. We are going to miss her dearly.
