About Me
I am a 26 year old recent graduate of King's College London where I studied bioethics. I am originally from the United States, but was born in Southampton, England and spent part of my childhood there. After University in the states I decided to return and have been loving it in London. I have consistently been a babysitter from the age of 14, and I find spending time with kids to be a good way to balance academic life, and also to be very rewarding. I consider myself to be a team player, very energetic, bubbly, and good at communicating :) I really enjoy being outside and staying active, as well as engaging in creative activities such as art and baking.
My Experience
I have a very broad range of experiences watching children from the ages of 2 months to 16 years old. My most recent experience for a few months before moving was nannying for a family of three children; an 8 month old girl, a 4 year old boy, and an 8 year old boy. I have other experience with babies as well, and over the summer of 2020 also watched a 5 month old a few days a week in the evenings. Prior to that I have spent whole summers nannying for children, and have lots of experience babysitting in the evenings on a needed and flexible basis. I have also watched children while the parents have been home, especially during the pandemic when children can be distracting from parents working at home!
My Qualifications
I have full Paediatric First Aid certification that is OFSTED approved, which I received in August 2023.
My Availability
My schedule is extremely flexible! I'm currently working on earning my pilates teacher certification, which is a flexible and mostly weekend commitment :)
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
I have a lot of experience, so I would prefer to be paid minimum £15/hour
