Hello! My name is Charlie! I am very focussed and determined, I love to take on new challenges and to push myself out of my comfort zone. I have an inner child that loves inventing games and having fun, especially out in nature. I love to travel, especially to go trekking and I am currently preparing to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro. I am undoubtedly an optimist, always seeing the joy and value in everything I do.
I am based in Aigburth, Liverpool, but have my own car and am perfectly happy to travel further afield.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience working with children of all ages and their families, ranging from roles in nurseries, primary schools, home visiting and childminding. I am currently the Assistant SENDCo of a local mainstream school. Further to this, each summer I am a camp counsellor for Camp Kodiak in Ontario, Canada. We care for children aged 5 to 17 with and without special needs, supporting them through social, sporting and academic activities.
I relish any opportunity to work with children and young people, to support them and encourage their development. I can promise full commitment to the growth and happiness of any child I work with, as well as flexibility and general help to their family. I have babysat for many families, with children ranging from <1 to 10 years and with anywhere between 1 and 4 children per family. I have also babysat for weddings and events.
I am doubly COVID vaccinated.
My Qualifications
7 A*’s and 4 A’s in GCSE’s obtained from Weaverham High School.
2 A*’s and 1 B in A Levels obtained from Sir John Deane’s College.
BSc Degree of Psychology with Placement Year (Developmental Psychology Specialisation) obtained from the University of York.
Full driving licence.
Enhanced DBS Check.

Charlie has been looking after our boys for a few months now, ranging from age 15 months to 10 years, the kids love her, they're always excited when she comes.
She is very reliable and trustworthy & we feel very lucky that we have found her!
Overall
Charlie has been helping me out with my two boys aged 3 and 6 over the last couple of months, and they love her. They always look forward to her arrival, and she helps fill the house with fun and laughter. I feel very happy to leave my boys in her care and she clearly relishes being with them too. Can't recommend highly enough :)

My son absolutely adores Charlie and always really looks forward to seeing her. She is patient, reliable and fun to be with. She's been an absolute godsend to us and we love having her as an important part of our little family.
