My Summary

My Experience

I have three years’ experience working at LEGO, a child-focused retail environment, where I interacted regularly with children of all ages, backgrounds, and personalities. This role helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and confidence engaging children in a positive and safe way.

I also worked for one year as a tutor at Explore Learning, supporting children aged 4 and upwards with Maths and English. This role strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and support children’s confidence and progress in a structured setting.

In addition, I have babysitting experience caring for children aged 7–11, providing supervision, activities, and general care. Growing up with three younger siblings and a large extended family has also given me extensive informal experience in a home setting, helping me build a calm, responsible, and nurturing approach to childcare.

My Qualifications

I passed all of my GCSE’s, with an A in english, A in science and an A in maths! An A* in spanish and the rest were B’s. I also studied English Literature (A), Maths (B) and Psychology (C) for Alevels. I graduated from a russel group university with a 2.1 in BSc Psychology. More recently, I have completed a Payroll qualification and am currently working on my CIPD HR qualification.

My Availability

I work from home 2 days a week and am available after 5.30, on the other 2 working days I am available from around 7pm. I am quite flexible over weekends and evenings in general.
