Nanny in Bude (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
I am a qualified Early Years Practitioner and Nanny and have 6 years childcare experience.
I am also a mummy to two beautiful little boys aged 3 and 8 months.
I live in Cornwall Bude with my partner and our 2 children + our little dog Arlo - very out numbered with all the boys in our home!
I am very flexible with days/time so please don’t hesitate to message me about that, unfortunately I am unable to message first so if you like my profile and would like to talk/know more please message me and I will respond.
Please don’t let my location put you off as I am more than happy to travel. Where I live there are no nannying jobs so I know that I will be travelling and so more than happy to do so!
My Experience
I hold an Early Years Practitioner qualification which i completed while working in a local childminders in Bude. Once i completed my qualification i moved to Surrey to become a Nanny for a beautiful family with two boys aged 3&9. While the youngest was in nursery (2 days a week) I was also a lunchtime cover in a nursery. Once the youngest brother started school full time I then began working at the nursery full time Monday-Friday as a Early Years practitioner in the baby room.
Also on the weekends and some evenings during the week i was a PA for a 15 year old with additional needs. My main role was to be his friend and help him thrive in life. We went out on some amazing days out together and some great cinema trips! I loved having the chance to work with him.
Below I have listed some of my roles I had while nannying
• Waking the boys up and getting them dressed/ready for school
• breakfast/morning routine
• school drop off/pick up
• all school clubs/activity clubs, swimming, football, tennis club etc
• Household cleaning
• washing
• bathtime/showertime
• preparing and cooking all meals
• bedtime routine
I have experience with children aged newborn to 16 years
I moved back home to Cornwall in 2023 just before I had my eldest son. When my maternity leave was over I worked in a nursery as an Early Years practitioner all the way up until I had my youngest.
Unfortunately I went into premature labour at 30 weeks in August 2026 and sadly had to leave this job. We spent over 4 weeks in NICU and came home in October.
Now that our youngest is 8 months (coming up 6 months corrected) and growing up/getting bigger and stronger each day I need to look at getting back into work.
I have also been babysitting for 6 years and I have also been babysitting since coming home (with my youngest with me).
I have some lovely references that I am happy to send over.
