Hi families, i’m Africa, from Spain.
I am very connected to sports (I have practiced swimming and karate for many years). I am a pedagogue, I have studied a degree in Pedagogy at the University in my country (Pedagogy refers to a teacher's method and practices. It is how they approach their teaching style and relates to the different theories they use, how they give feedback, and the assessments they set).
I have worked in a nursery and primary school as an educator of children with special needs in Spain. Upon arrival in London, I have worked as an after school and part time nanny for 3 years in an age range from 12 months to 6 years old.
I have a great adaptability, I am very cheerful with a positive and creative attitude, I like to discover the potential of children. I am responsible, organized, hard worker and patient. I love guiding and accompanying children in their emotional and personal growth. I love doing activities and exploring the outdoors with children.
My Experience
Educator/ Teacher Assistant: 6 months ( Spain).
I have worked in a nursery and primary school with autistic, intellectual disabilities and other learning difficulties and special needs children.
Nanny / live out: 6 months (London).
I used to take care of a 12 months baby girl.
Preparing lunch and snacks, potty training, manners and behaviour, guide in the first knowledge in letters, numbers and colors in English and Spanish, outdoor time, naps,playing and emotional accompaniment.
Nanny/ live out: 10 months (London).
I used to take care of a 18 months baby boy.
Preparing lunch and snacks, naps, potty training, manners and behaviour, guide in the first knowledge in letters, numbers and colours, emotional accompaniment, outdoor time, playgroups.
After school Nanny: 3 years (London).
I look after a 6 years old boy.
Drop off and pick up time, extracurricular activities, attend to appoiments, play date organization, outdoor activities, manners and behaviour, emotional accompaniment, teach Spanish based on practical and theoretical educational activities, cook, clean, clothes organization, bath, story time and bed time.
