About Me

Hello,
My name is Gareth and I have been working as a Learning Support Assistant in special needs units across England and Wales for the past 6 years. As well as helping with school work from primary to secondary level I am also able to bring a tailored approach for children with additional needs such as ADHD and Autism. I have mild ADHD myself so am aware of the challenges that these children face in education. I bring a friendly, positive attitude and a lot of empathy to the work I do with children.

My Experience

6 years - SEN TA - Supporting children in Primary and secondary schools across England and Wales - Working in specialist teaching facilities such as Woodlands school in Plymouth. Supporting children 1:1 and groups with complex needs.

Foundation Degree in Creative Art Therapies
