A home away from home

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Donna. For three and a half years, she has been a constant source of joy, comfort, and stability. From the very beginning, she created a place where our little ones felt safe, loved, and completely themself. There was always so much excitement for “Donna days,” and the happiness afterwards said everything — the crafts, the games the adventures, and all the funny moments with the other “little pickles.” These memories will stay with us forever. Donna helped our child grow from a 9‑month‑old baby into a confident, sassy, hilarious little person who’s ready for new adventures. She isn’t just a childminder — she’s part of our family, someone we trust and appreciate more than words can say. You can tell that she genuinely cares about the children and loves what she does.

'I loved going to Julie's' - a very happy child!

Having never used a childminder before, we were a little nervous about leaving our boys with one.

From day 1 Julie was absolutely brilliant, it felt like leaving our 1 year old with a relative rather than a childminder.

She also picked up our 4 year old from Barton Primary and he always looked forward to 'Julie days'.

She had loads of fun activities for them and the communication was brilliant. We were sent lots of photos of happy children and were given a daily diary of what they'd been upto and eaten.

Can't recommend her enough!
