About Me
My name is Zara. I have Armenian roots and have lived in a number of countries. We moved from Germany to the UK in 2004 when my husband signed a contract to work as a consultant surgeon and a chief medical officer in a hospital in the UK. Our child is now 16 years old. I am a caring, loving and responsible mother/parent. Children's well-being, their rights and protection are extremely important to me and I work hard to make sure they are happy and well cared for, while leaving them room to grow. I am a lawyer by profession and have worked for law firms specialising in Employment, Immigration and Human Rights law and Clinical Negligence (mainly dealing with birth injury/brain injury cases). I enjoy sports, reading and playing the piano. At present, I feel that in addition to my professional job, I would also like to spend my extra time caring for children, nurturing their inborn potential and making sure they become the best version of themselves.
My Experience
I am a parent myself and an aunt to a number of nieces and nephews. I always enjoyed looking after friends' children. Professionally, I did childminding of a 22 months old until he became five years old. I also did babysitting of six and seven year old twins.
My Qualifications
I have academic qualifications (law, politics, international relations). I am also a qualified mum, aunt and a babysitter/nanny for my friends' children.
