Hello! My name is Theodora, and I’m a passionate and caring childminder originally from Togo. I’ve always loved working with children and find so much joy in watching them learn, grow, and express themselves.
I have a creative spirit and love bringing art, crafts, and imaginative play into daily activities. It’s a great way for children to explore and develop their talents. I also enjoy cooking, and I often involve children (in age-appropriate ways!) in fun, safe kitchen experiences that teach practical skills and healthy habits.
Family is very important to me, and I aim to create a warm, welcoming, and home-like environment where every child feels safe, valued, and loved.
Whether we’re doing messy play, story time, or just having fun in the garden, I strive to make every day engaging and full of learning opportunities.
My Experience
I have over 5 years of professional childcare experience across a variety of settings. I worked as a Childminding Assistant for 2 years, supporting day-to-day activities and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children of different ages. Before that, I spent 2 years as a Maternity Support Worker with the NHS, where I provided care and support for newborns and their families. I also have 1 year of experience working in a nursery, supporting children’s learning and development through play-based and structured activities. In addition to my professional roles, I have hands-on experience caring for my younger siblings, which has helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and understanding of children’s needs.
My Qualifications
- Level 3 cache diploma in childcare and education
- Level 3 health and social care
- Full paediatric first Aid training
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. I also offer school pick-ups, and I am happy to discuss specific drop-off and collection arrangements. I am also sometimes available for babysitting.

Our child Jeremiah ( 3 yrs) had a wonderful experience with Theodora. She is really caring, and she paid him great attention , her house is really nice too for kids and has safety protection everywhere creating a safe and fun environment where my son thrived. We’re so grateful for the loving care and support she provided!

I can’t be happier with the care my 2 year old son, Jacob receives. Theodora has always been very friendly and professional and has definitely created a lovely, welcoming and safe environment for all the kids she looks after. It’s clear that my son has fun and learns whilst in her care because his confidence and communication skills have grown so much.
We get regular updates with kind professional communication which puts me at ease knowing he is in safe and nurturing hands. Would definitely recommend !!!
