After School Nanny/Childminder Needed – Caterham (April Start)

About Us
Hi, I’m Cecile, a working mum based in Caterham. I’m looking for a reliable and caring after-school nanny or childminder for my 5-year-old daughter, who is in Reception at a local school.

Role Details
• Start: April 2026
• Days: 3–5 days per week (to be agreed)
• Hours: 3:15pm – 6:30pm
• Location: Caterham
• Optional: Morning drop-off (around 8:00am), if available

Duties
• School pick-up
• After-school care at your home or ours
• Engaging activities (play, reading, light learning)
• Preparing a simple meal/snack
• Creating a safe, positive environment

About My Daughter
She is kind, bright, and full of personality. I’m looking for someone who will build a warm relationship with her and make the afternoons enjoyable and structured.

Ideal Candidate
• Experience with children aged 4–6
• Reliable, punctual, and organised
• Warm, patient, and engaging
• Ofsted-registered (preferred, if childminder)
• Driver with own car (preferred)
• References available

Additional Information
• Competitive pay (happy to discuss based on experience)
• Long-term role for the right person
• Open to both nannies and registered childminders

Reliable Childminder

Sue is a brilliant childminder who helped me on the transition from maternity leave to fully working. She had lots of food ideas for my little baby and is an experienced hand at looking after babies. What stood out to me is her flexibility to accommodate my evolving work hours and the care she took to listen to any of the natural cares and concerns with handing over child care. Altogether a brilliant childminder and definitely recommend.
