About Me

Hello! My name is Jennifer McDonald and I am 28 years old from Aberdeenshire. I am a fully qualified and experienced primary teacher and ski instructor and have taken a short break from teaching as my husband and I get ready to move abroad at the end of the year! Having been both a sports instructor and educator I have a passion for the outdoors and meeting the needs of all children in a fun and exciting way.

My Experience

I have worked with children since I was 16 as I started out as a ski instructor. While I worked at the Aberdeen Snowsports centre I was involved in teaching lessons, running and organising full day children’s camps and went on to become a duty supervisor. I have also run classes specifically for children and adults with additional support needs. I then went on to complete my primary teaching qualification and have taught full time in the classroom since 2022. This past year I was working as the specialist Nurture Practitioner working with children with additional support needs.
