About Me
I am an experienced and outstanding primary school teacher. I am currently taking a break from full time teaching, due to family circumstances. I have a passion for engaging even the most reluctant learner and capturing their interest using imaginative resources and techniques. I ensure that that the children I teach make excellent progress, while also building their confidence and having fun. I have a particular interest in children with ASD and Dyslexia.
My Experience
I have taught the full primary age range in Dorset primary schools. I am experienced in teaching phonics and spelling; reading comprehension; writing composition and handwriting; and all aspects of the maths curriculum. I have prepared pupils for KS1 and KS2 SATs. I have a background in children's book publishing and have created many highly-original literacy resources.
