About Me
I have always had a love of working with children, and take great pleasure in watching them learn and grow into independent and confident youngsters. I own my own car and hold a full driving license. I am reliable, enthusiastic, motivated and flexible; and enjoy working with children of any age. I believe that giving children a loving and supportive environment, coupled with empowering them to develop knowledge and life skills, will lead to them being able to excel in any challenge they are faced with. I recognize the importance of creativity and imagination and providing a safe and secure environment, which allows the children to explore and develop, whilst having guidance from a passionate and caring childcare provider, who is able to meet the needs of the child, whilst understanding their individual needs, whilst working with families to ensure that their child is cared for in the way that they desire.
My Experience
I have spent most of my teenage years caring for children in a number of capacities. Coming from a family with a younger sibling, I have supported my working parents with babysitting, supporting my younger brother with his education and development. During my GCSE education, I undertook a BTEC qualification in Health and Social care, undertaking placement in a local school, and received glowing feedback from the staff. Having passed this qualification, I secured a workplace apprenticeship with a local childcare provider and have worked in an early years pre-school setting for the last two and a half years. Whilst working full time I have completed Level 2 NVQ Children and Young People's Workforce qualification, and am a few weeks away from completing a Level 3 NVQ Early Years Educator Qualification. I am a key worker for a number of children within the setting and provide daily updates to parents about their child's progress. I regular design and develop activities to supports children's development following the Early Years curriculum.

I am available between 7 am and 6 pm to support you! My availability is relatively flexible and am happy to discuss individual requirements with prospective families. I am currently looking for a September 2023 start
