My Experience
I have been a Nanny since October 2022 and have thoroughly enjoyed the role, looking after children ages 7 - 13, taking care of their needs both emotionally and educationally, also happily helping out with house hold cleaning and cooking fresh nutritious meals for the family.
Along side being a nanny have been studying and training to become a therapist. I have recently received an offer to complete my masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Salford. I have previously worked as an Education Mental Health Practitioner for the NHS, delivering low intensity cognitive behavioural therapy interventions for school children ages 7 - 16.
Previous to my work with the NHS I worked as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant planning and delivering lessons in an alternative provision Education with children ages 14-16 who have social, emotional and mental health barriers. I worked in building relationships with each child and offering support and safeguarding to the highest standard.
I have also worked with children ages 5-16, planning and delivering a variety of arts and wellbeing workshops so I would be more than happy engaging children in creative activities including for the Lowry Theatre and ODD Arts.
My Qualifications
Graduate Skills in Counselling (Level 3 equivalent)
Postgraduate Diploma in Education Mental Health Practice
Level 2 in Counselling Concepts from the Manchester College
Level 2 Health and Safety and Safeguarding Children from the Virtual College
1st Class Honours Degree in Performing Arts from The University of Salford
A level B in Sociology, Drama and Theatre Studies and Performing Arts
10 A*-C grade GSCE's including A* Drama A Maths, English, Music B in Science and Food technology
