We are a couple with two children (1yob and 5yog).

My Requirements
We are seeking someone who can look after our very happy and energetic baby from approximately 3-6pm on 2 or more days a week, and who can occasionally pick up our older daughter from a nearby school if we are not able to. I would ask you to muck in with us on some very basic household catch up, such as folding laundry, emptying the dishwasher, or making dinner for the kids, but not a full on cleaning job.
The perfect person will:
- have previous experience with babies of this age and an understanding of baby/child development
- have great references
- have no need to get their phone out unless in an emergency ;)
- be a gentle and joyful presence and a sense of humour
- have good playful chemistry with our 5 year old when she's around
- have an up to date DBS check and some first aid training

CVad is a reliable, trustworthy child-carer. She created a joyful, loving relationship with our baby, bringing out her personality, and nurturing her ability to be sociable, happy, adventurous and confident.

Grace helped us to take care of our baby when we were in St Leonard's for a couple of weeks. She was able to quickly form a bond, and had just the right way of stimulating her playfulness and curiosity, with encouragement and genuine tenderness. Grace also took care of some naps and a couple of night time wakings, watching for what would be most helpful to let our baby be her best and happiest (and sometimes snooziest) self.
