My name is Leonie and I am an English teacher and childcare professional currently living in Bexleyheath. I have experience both as a Private Nanny, and working within schools in teaching roles. I worked within these sectors for 5 years. I am passionate about all things creative, English particularly, and love working with children.
I have a recent Enhanced DBS check also, and have experience with children from Nursery up to Secondary school age.
Now on to my personal background! I am the eldest child of five! So naturally, I would consider myself to be patient and nurturing, hence leading me into the childcare sector. I love museums, the outdoors and painting. When out with friends, I love going to concerts and I’m a lover of all genres of music!
I would consider myself to be a non-judgemental person, very liberal and free-thinking. I am very open to adapt to whatever you as a family require, no matter your religion, family dynamic or political beliefs. I love learning about new cultures also and I’m more than happy to help children to learn more about their backgrounds through creative activities and outings!
I have experience in both mainstream education and alternative provisions, so please do not hesitate to reach out regardless of your child’s needs.

I have experience in supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs. I have experience working in pupil referral units as a tutor of both maths and English. I am experienced with primary school ages as well as up to 16+, for GCSE, A-Level and Functional Skills.
