About Me
My name is Amandine Clamens-McCoy, I am 21 years old and I have just completed an Acting for Film course at University.
Being French-Australian, I speak French fluently and would be more than happy to teach or assist your children in learning the language. Mathematics is also a strong point of mine and would be glad to help your children with that subject.
But if you just need somebody to look after your children and entertain them whilst you are away (or even to go out for a drink after a long day's work!), I would be more than happy to assist! Through games, drawing, reading, music, outdoor activities and many more, I will be sure to offer joy and entertainment to your children! Being around them and bringing smiles to their faces is a huge pleasure of mine!
I have a huge love for music, concerts and singing (I was part of the school choir for many years) and I would be happy to bring that liveliness to your children.
I am an active person, I attend the gym 5-6 times a week, and enjoy outdoor sports such as biking, kayaking, volleyball, climbing, horseriding and swimming. With that being said, I would be happy to bring active entertainment to your children.
Animals are also my loves in life, I have had many different pets all my life and I can confidently admit that I definitely have the skills to do petsitting, which would be such a pleasure and enjoyment for me to do!
Please note that due to not holding a driving licence, I will only be able to cover the LS15 area (within a mile) :)
My Experience
I have many years of experience in child care, I have worked with children of different ages, from the ages of 2 all the way to the age of 17.
I have worked with them in many ways, through part-time jobs, one-to-one mentoring, school exchanges, work experiences and volunteering.
My Qualifications
From my many years of education in France, I have achieved my Brevet des Colleges (English equivalent to GCSEs) with honours, in French, History/Geography/Civic Education and Mathematics.
I studied German for 5 years and passed my foreign language D.E.C (in German and English) which I achieved once more with honours.
After moving to the UK in 2018, I obtained my English and Mathematics GCSEs.
In 2020, I passed my Further Mathematics AS (A).
I also passed my A-levels in French (A*), Maths (B) and Drama (C).
Finally, I undertook an EPQ for which I received a grade of A*.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
Depending on the job required, my fees will range from £10-£18/hour. If the job requested includes additional housework/household work/tutoring your children or working at late hours, my fees will be higher. If you desire a simple daytime babysitter/nanny/petsitter I will be charging less. Prices may be negotiable or discussed over.
