I'm 30 years old, and I'm a freelance dancer and teacher, with lots of experience in working with children. I bring enthusiasm and energy and real enjoyment for working with little ones. I am currently studying part-time for a Master's degree and I would like to find a part-time Nanny role.
My Experience
My most recent experience is working as a part-time after-school nanny for two different families; a family of three (4, 8,10) and a family of two children (3 +7) which involved school pickups, helping with homework, making dinner, and general childcare duties.
I have had a lot of experience in working with children, including teaching dance classes for children aged 4-11 years old, and regularly looking after my nieces (aged 9 and 7) since birth. I really enjoy being around little ones and am willing to get stuck in, messy and involved in whatever is needed.
After running a company for many years, I am used to taking on significant responsibility and am proactive, and able to manage different demands. My teaching experience has given me strong communication skills, and an intuitive and empathetic approach, able to engage with and respond to children's needs. I also enjoy being creative and finding new and inspiring ideas for children to play.
My Qualifications
I have an undergraduate degree and am currently studying for a Masters. I carry an enhanced DBS Check.
