My Summary

My Experience

I have completed my Primary PGCE, have worked as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant (SLTA) for 3 years and I am now currently working within a nursery as a practitioner. I have had experience working with a range of different needs as well as ages. As a SLTA, I have had a lot of experience supporting students ages 9-24 in a 1:1 or 2:1 setting, working on various skills that they need support on. As I have trained as a Primary Teacher and working in a nursery, I am able to teach various topics and can individualise it to their needs. I have had a lot of experience looking after children due to both working in a nursery and having a big family where I would often look after my nephews and nieces.

My Qualifications

I have a QTS for Primary Education. I have a BSc in Criminology and Psychology, where I have also gained a BPS accreditation and a deep understanding of child development and well-being. I have also been DBS checked. I have passed my GCSEs in English, Maths, Triple Science as well as additional subjects. I have certificates in paediatric first aid, food safety as well as other various training due to my current employment. In addition to the above, I have gained a lot of experience working with children with Developmental Language Disorder. I am also a trained Makaton Trainer.

My availability may vary due to my shifts as they change each week. Please feel free to ask me if I'm free and I'll let you know!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

For just babysitting, I will be charging around £13-£15 an hour depending on the number of children and what duties you wish me to complete. If you wish me to also include private tutoring, I will be charging around £18-£20 an hour depending on the subjects as I have a QTS and it includes the time taken to plan and resource the sessions.
