I enjoy creating activities based on children’s interests, although still following parents instructions on routines with a bit of fun!
I have a passion for the EYFS and enjoy using it within helping children develop through learning, I tend to incorporate this into activities so the child is still having plenty of fun but learning at the same time!
I charge £12.00 an hour during the mornings/afternoons and after 6PM begin charging £14.00 an hour.
My Experience
I started my childcare journey by working in a nursery, I gained experience working with children from the age of 5 months to 13 years old. While working in a nursery I attended college taking my child care level 2 diploma which helped me gain knowledge.
Since leaving the nursery I have done baby sitting VIA this app, this helped me gain even more experience with working in a home setting delivering child care to children within their own home. This helped me learn different routines children may follow and planning activities 1-1. I have helped with day to day tasks such as creating healthy meals, nappy changes, bathing and putting the children to bed when needed.

My Qualifications
I started taking my level 2 diploma within childcare, before I was supposed to take the exam a change in circumstances occurred and I was unable to complete my certificate. Although I still have plenty of knowledge from the course I took, I don’t have the piece of paper to say I passed.
I have both English GCSES and Mathematics GCSES graded 4s.
I have relevant certificates within working with children such as a Safe Guarding Level 1 certificate, Level 1 Child Protection, ACEs course, Cognitive Psychology NVQ.
I also have a full DBS checked, a first aid certificate and a full clean UK driving licence.
