With many years of experience nannying and working in the Care Sector I enjoy supporting families and making people's lives easier. Nurturing children of all ages and abilities while allowing parents to work is extremely rewarding. Whether playing games inside & outside, supervising homework or keeping homes clean and tidy I always strive to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere to reduce stress for busy families.
My Experience
Although many of my jobs have been with pre-school children raising 3 children of our own has given me the skills to support and motivate children of all ages. In my career I have looked after 27 children. I have also been a Mother's Help/Nanny caring for the children, keeping them stimulated and active while conscientiously tidying, cleaning and the keeping the family washing up to date.
My previous position of over 2 years was with a child who has now gone to nursery.
I am looking for a long term family.
My Qualifications
SSNEB (Scottish Nursery Nurse Examination Board)
Holds PVGs for Children and Adults.
Certificates in First Aid, Coping in an Emergency, Hygiene and Manual Handling.
Certificate in Level 3 First Aid.
Clean Drivers Licence.
My Availability
I am available for a morning and early afternoon positions.
Family time is very important to me and the families I have worked with, so I will strive to be flexible out with set hours if necessary, so I am happy to work late and babysit occasionally.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
Rates depending on the number, ages of children and duties.

She brings more than 25 years of experience in childcare and early childhood education, and this depth of knowledge is evident in everything she does. Her understanding of child development, learning through play, emotional regulation, and age-appropriate stimulation is extensive and instinctively applied.
During her time with our family, Maria created thoughtful, engaging, and developmentally rich games and activities tailored specifically to my daughter’s stage of growth. These were not generic activities, but carefully designed experiences that supported cognitive, emotional, and social development. As a result, my child is noticeably advanced for her age, and I credit this directly to the care, creativity, and educational approach that Maria consistently provided.
