About Me
I’m a 24-year-old graduate from the University of York who’s living in Earl’s Court and is starting a masters at Imperial College London in September.
I am looking for a position for the Summer as a nanny and any tutoring opportunities.
I have been working in childcare for many years. Most recently as a nanny to a girl in year 7. My work has included cooking, cleaning, school drop offs/pick ups and tutoring.
I am very good at engaging children with the outdoors. I worked for 3 years in the Summers in Canada in outdoor education for a company called Alive Outdoors, which involved leading canoe expeditions for up to 6 days for children from 7-16 where I was often the only adult or working with only one other adult.
I’ve always been very academic, achieving 10 GCSEs and completing the International Baccalaureate program with 40/45 points. My degree was in Natural Sciences specialising in Biology, and my Masters is in Science Communication - so engaging children with science and nature is something I am very capable and happy to do.
I have tutored in GCSE biology, chemistry, physics, English, Geography and History. And would feel comfortable tutoring in Geography and Biology at A-level/IB.
I have a police check and first aid training!

My Experience
I have been working with a 12 year old girl for 4 months. Cooking, cleaning and pick ups/drop offs.
I also worked as an outdoor educator and canoe expedition leader for 2 summers/autumns and with Alive Outdoors programs with school groups of children aged 7-16.
I worked as a Camp Counsellor, looking after 10-13 year old girls. I was specially trained for helping children with special needs that varied from anxiety and adhd to motor stereotypies.
I’ve tutored GCSE biology, chemistry, physics, geography, history and English. And would feel comfortable teaching A-level geography and biology.
I am a sailing and windsurfing instructor and have taught and been responsible for children from age 5+.
I babysat on and off for my teenage years for 2 young boys (4-8years old)

My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
I usually ask for at least £18 an hour for nannying/babysitting jobs - more if there are more children.
For tutoring, I ask for £25 an hour for online tutoring and £30 for in person tutoring.
