Currently only taking students in NW8 or those willing to travel to NW8
I am a qualified primary school teacher having taught for 8 years in the classroom and over 25 private students in the last 3 years. I offer private tutoring online and in person in different subjects. Now solely focusing on exam preparation
• 4+ one off assessments and reports to support parents with school entrance
- 7+/ 11+ school based preparation in Maths, Literacy, Verbal and non-verbal reasoning
• Reading assessments (1-1) with strategies for parents to improve reading comprehension and literacy skills.
My Experience
I have taught for over 8 years internationally in both the UK and Hong Kong and believe in using children's interests to develop their passion for learning. I believe every child has the ability to be successful and progress is visible when children are engaged with the learning process. I love to personalise my lessons as much as possible to meet students needs so each lesson will be designed and planned to target your child's goals. I always start with an assessment to understand the needs of your child before developing a series of lesson to tackle their targets and each month I provide parents with a report of what’s been covered along with some targets for the following month.
I have a wealth of experience teaching face to face and via zoom. I have tutored over 30 different students alongside working in a UK primary school. I have knowledge of the UK national curriculum, IB PYP, school entrance board examinations and school based assessments for reception entry.

My Availability
DM- currently operating on 90% schedule and only have online availability. I have availability for one off face to face assessments that come with a detailed report for parents to use to support their child at home.

Great experience with Himali, always prepared for every session, professional, fantastic teacher. She really helped my two kids prepare for assessments at short notice. With a kind but firm manner, my kids love their weekly sessions with Himali!
