About Me
I’m a 48 year old mum of 4 grown up children two of which have autism (Asperger’s Syndrome) and I am a Nanna to two. I have worked with children one way or another all of my adult life and would love to return to the role of Nanny again.
My Experience
I worked as a Nanny from leaving school until
I had my own children and even after that I provided holiday cover as my employer was happy for me to take my own child along too. I then became a teaching assistant in 2009, qualifying in 2011 and starting my current role in 2012. I have experienced looking after babies from 10 days old up until teenage years in a professional capacity.
My Qualifications
No formal Nanny qualifications just years of experience
Level 2 certificate in supporting teaching and learning in schools
Level 3 diploma in specialist support for teaching and learning in schools
First aid in the workplace valid until June 2024
Enhanced dbs
1 A level C grade
9 GCSEs including English and Maths A-C grades
