Hi! I’m Amy, I’m 23 years old and looking for childcare work. I live in Leeds city centre and have a full driving license so can work anywhere around Leeds. I graduated from Leeds Arts University last year with a BA in Visual Communications.
A bit about me: I’m very creative, with an art degree, and I like music and playing instruments, I’m also very imaginative which definitely helps when working with kids! I’m very patient and understanding, especially with children. I’m happy to get stuck in with anything really, lego, board games, drawing or colouring, arts and crafts, playing outside.
My Experience
I worked in a childrens holiday club in schools over two summers and absolutely loved it and the kids were so fun to work with. I led a range of arts based and sports based activities, and enjoyed providing fun for the children. We worked with some SEN kids so I have experience with ADHD and children with autism, however only high functioning and verbal children. I am keen to learn if your child has more needs than this. I worked with kids age 4-11 but am quick to learn if you have younger children. I would love to gain experience with children ages 1-3! I was also a part time nanny for two children aged 3 and 5 whilst they required in home childcare.
My Qualifications
Whilst I don’t have any professional qualifications, I have done some online qualifications in child psychology and caring for children and their emotions. I was also a part time nanny for two children aged 3 and 5 whilst they required in home childcare.
My Availability
I am free pretty much always!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
£14 per hour, an extra £2 per hour per child, ex. £16 for two children
