Hello, I'm Sharon. I am very experienced with young children, having been a teacher for many years.
I consider myself to be kind, warm, gentle and fun-loving.
I love babies and toddlers and am endlessly patient, competent and confident with their care.
I especially enjoy art and craft activities with the children, reading stories (I have an extensive knowledge of children's books!) and outdoor activities.

My Experience
I'm a Primary/Nursery teacher who has taken early retirement.
I have been teaching for about 30 years, having taught 3-11 year olds and have my own children at university.
I have looked after babies since I was 14 years old and have numerous nieces and nephews who I've cared for as babies, as well as friends' children, and have supported overwrought new mums.
I have taught children with a range of special needs over the years, including teaching at a school for deaf children.
I'm currently an after-school nanny to two children but they will start secondary school in September an will be unlikely to need me then, so I'm thinking ahead to arrange with a new family.

My Availability
I currently have some availability on Mondays and Thursdays and on Friday mornings. I will have full availability in September 2026.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
TBA, depending on number and age of children.
£30 an hour for tutoring (KS1) min 2 hours.
