About Me
Hello! I’m Sarah (43) my husband Sam (56) and our almost 6 year old boy called Dexter.
We live in Bocking with 2 cats and in a beautiful green spot with forest to roam a few steps from our back gate.
I’m medically retired from the NHS as a Paramedic and Sam is self employed in the fitness industry.
We are looking for someone (male or female) to join our family to help us with supporting our son with fun activities, educational opportunities and generally helping us within the home.
I am navigating a cancer diagnosis and as a family we’d like another adult who loves children and will provide our family support and some time for me and my husband to go out from time to time.
We would like someone from a few hours a day - up to 6hrs , 2-3 times a week. We are flexible in daytime hours and are also open to evening babysitting.
Dexter is home educated. He is very bright, a great eater, is able to bike ride long distances, swim and is keen on reading often. He loves construction of Lego at the moment. He does not have any special learning requirements.
We are passionate about food as a family - this is one of our key values to eat fresh wholesome food to support Dexters development optimally. We focus on Montessori method of child led play and support when required.
We would love a kind, compassionate mentor to bond with Dexter that supports our passions in an active lifestyle, being outside as often as possible and engaging in developmental fun environments with a fresh whole foods diet that supports his ongoing wellbeing.
My Requirements
2 / 3 day a week (approx 12 hours)
We are very flexible

Ellie & Mim looked after our son (4 at the time for 1 year) - he was their first mindee. We felt very comfortable from the start with their environment, their key values and personalities. Dexter often cooked with Mim, explored several types of creative play, visited the local library and parks, even train journeys to other activities. I was very pleased with our communication between us all, it was very open, transparent and constructive both ways.
I would 100% recommend Little Larks for their childminding service.
I was not one bit surprised when they received their outstanding report from their 1st inspection by their agency.
Well done!

Thank you so much for being such a wonderfully engaged and supportive first family for us 💚 It was a privilege to spend that time with Dexter and we made so many lovely memories.
Jenna is a lovely, kind, educational & fun childminder. Our son settled quickly and Jenna provides new stimulus to the children every visit he has. Jenna loves to take the kids out which adds to the wholesome childcare she provides. Would 100% recommend her!
