My Experience

Since starting Little Larks, we have cared for five children, with ages ranging from 6 months to 5 years. We have absolutely loved building relationships with them all as individuals and seeing them develop.

"My child just loves going to Ellie and Mim. They really pick up on what she’s into and do loads of fun activities with her. She’s formed such a lovely bond with Ellie, her key person, and even though she’s not talking much yet, she says their name all the time!! You can really see how happy and settled she is. They’re honestly amazing with her, and we couldn’t be happier."

"[Child] settled very quickly with Mim & Ellie [...] he hit it off with Mim in particular and has a very close bond with her now.
He was their first child and I’ve had no issues at all. I’m very pleased and reassured. They both select great activities and learning for him. Their communication is faultless and the report writing etc is very thorough. I’ve found both Ellie & Mim to be very honest, open and adaptable. They’ve learnt some things along the way and are open to our feedback and suggestions."

There are also a large number of children amongst our extended family and friends (ranging from 0-10 years), who bring so much joy to our lives, and we love spending time with them; it is with them that our previous experience has been gained.

"I have no doubt that Ellie will make a great childminder. They have taken care of our son independently on numerous occasions at various ages and particularly from 6 months up. They’re attentive and attuned to his needs. Ellie’s playful nature tees up fabulously with young children."

My Qualifications

We have completed online EYFS childminder training through our agency, as well as Tigerlily paediatric first aid and government Safeguarding training.

We are currently taking enquiries for September 2027 (two spaces available)
