About Me
Hey, I'm MJ. Here's a little about me. The eldest of four, which might tell you a lot! I am a Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology student at UoM. My favourite module is by far developmental psychology. I would be delighted to help your little ones with developmentally appropriate activities to help them thrive. On the side of my degree, I am completing a level 5 advanced TEFL diploma.
I love the gym, playing rugby and hockey. I am the chair of a society at UoM and run the newsletter for my course. I play the violin/viola and a little piano too! Currently really enjoy watching Taskmaster and Grey's Anatomy.

My Experience
Over my gap year I nannied for two families and at the end, I worked at a summer camp in California (because the weather is just a bit nicer!). I've since returned for a second year and am in Year 2 of university. I trained as a tutor with an organisation for 3 years so I have completed plenty of safeguarding training. I am also a qualified American Red Cross lifeguard!
I have worked as a mentor to an autistic child and in a school HAF holiday club over the last few years. I have also been tutoring for a while and have worked in children's entertainment. I have experience with food preparation also!
My Qualifications
I have a-levels AAA in Chem, Bio and Maths. I am completing a BSL level 1 course, a level 5 TEFL diploma and a degree. I have first aid and lifeguard qualifications (from the American Red Cross).
My Availability
Since I'm a student, I can't commit to full-time. There's the occasional compulsory meeting or lecture I have to go to but around that I'm so excited to get involved in activities with your little ones.
