We are looking for an energetic, organised, fun nanny / nanny-housekeeper to join our happy, hectic family and help me look after our 3 children (B7, G5, B3) and manage our household in Clapton (note we have a separate cleaner)
I do the school drop-off and pick-up each day and get home between 4 and 5:45pm, except Thursday when you will do the school run in the car as the school is in Victoria Park.
Full time hours during holidays, but we often go away or have grandparents stay.
Childcare duties
Provide a secure, loving, happy, safe environment for all children. Engage in conversation and play, teach good manners through repetition, teach good behaviour through empathy and guidance, set clear boundaries and hold them firmly but kindly, cook basic but nutritious meals and gently encourage a broader palette (children eat quite a narrow variety of foods), homework when mum not around.
Household duties
Keep children’s rooms tidy, launder and put clothes away, leave playroom and kitchen in good order at the end of the day, empty and repack school bags, prepare school uniform ready for the next day, plan meals and help to manage the weekly Ocado delivery on the app, shop locally for veg and essentials needed through the week.
Open communication and two way feedback with parents is key. As a working mum I strive to spend as much quality time with the children as possible so a nanny who understands and enables this, and generally makes our lives easier and more fun is a valued partner.
We have a lovely vizlador dog call Neville so you should be happy with being around animals and walking him on Wednesdays (we have a dog walker other days).
Salary will depend on experience.

Sincere apologies to the last family who had a bad experience with Antonia. She blocked me before I was able to leave a review. I hoped we would be a one off, but after seeing the latest review I contacted the website so I could warn other families.
We employed Antonia for 7 months. She was great with the kids (or so we thought) but regularly demonstrated a lack of integrity. She used the bank card I gave her for family expenses for personal use, told us she couldn’t come to work because her friend was in town and lied to us about being ill during school holidays when she was actually looking after her children. After we gave her her notice she basically stopped coming to work, leaving us high and dry in the school holidays. She also owes us money for a weeks’ work that she said she would pay back and hasn’t. After we fired her during the notice period, things came to light which were very upsetting and I filed a police report. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
