About Me
Hello, my name is Libby (Liberty) I am currently a student at university studying child psychology after recently finishing my BSc in Psychology. I love the idea of working with children and helping busy parents who need an extra hand. I am very patient and due to my degree in psychology and previous experience I am able to take care of children with special needs. I am able to work with pets too as I have multiple of my own. Outside of working I enjoy going out exercising and gaming. I'd love the opportunity to work and help a family in need and gain more experience working with children as well as meeting new families.
My Experience
I currently work in a neuro-divergent secondary school, working with year 9 students. Prior to this I worked in another secondary school as a cover teacher working with all year groups. So I have had experience working with children in a professional manner and in large groups. Due to this experience I am also able to help children with their homework if they need, including maths as i still study this myself. I also occasionally babysit for another family, which I have been doing for just over a year with children aged 5-6. This is all the relevent work experience I have had working with children but I am happy to provide further details if I get any messages. I also have an enhanced DBS.
My Qualifications
I currently hold an enhanced DBS check and a Batchelor Degree in Psychology. By the end of the year (2023) I will have a Masters Degree in Child Psychology
My Availability
As summer holidays are coming up I am having more free time through the week over the summer holidays, but I will need a couple days to make sure I do not fall behind on my studies. This can be discussed further if needed. Any dates I am unavailable will be let known asap to any parent/guardian. I am available to babysit on one off occasions or repeated if needed.
