About Me
I’m a warm hearted, caring local mum, who loves being with kids, and wants to spend more time with them!
I love being creative, being outside, going on adventures and being in nature. I’m also pretty musical! I love the Montessori approach and enjoy learning more about it (when I get some time!), and have a passion for exploring alternative approaches to education. My son is at a Montessori school, and I love the independence it gives him. I’m passionate about being with children and allowing them to explore for themselves, especially outside, and love seeing the world through their eyes!
My Experience
As well as being mum to a bouncy 11 year old boy, I have lots of experience working with primary aged children. I am UK trained Primary Teacher, and have worked as a supply teacher in numerous schools, as well as private Tutoring, Mentoring, and Confidence Coaching with children aged 5-11, many of whom had multiple SEN, including Autism and ADHD.
I have run a UK kids summer camp, have worked for Camp America twice, and taught in France for 1 month and Kenya for 4 months.
I have nannying experience with ages 10 months- 6 years, and currently work one afternoon a week with a 7 year old and 3 year old. I’m fully Enhanced DBS cleared and Paediatric First Aid trained.
I speak French reasonably (bit rusty!) and some Spanish and Italian- enough to sing some songs and learn some basic words if that was wanted!
I have recently developed a special fondness for tiny people, having had a tiny person of my own!

My Availability
UPDATE- JAN 2026
I currently run NatureKids- child led, nature based Holiday Clubs and Home Ed clubs in Stanmer Park for primary aged children, which run in half terms and holidays. This takes up a lot of my time!
I’m currently available for a few hours a week, or some ad hoc school pickups etc and evening babysitting (including overnights). I’m based in Lewes, and available at short notice on some days. Do you get in touch if you need an extra pair of hands!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.50 per hour (gross)
Childcare from £16.50/hr daytimes
£13/hr evening babysitting.
Overnights negotiable.
I also offer Private tutoring, coaching and mentoring - rates tba.
