About Me
I’m a warm hearted, caring local mum, who loves being with kids, and wants to spend more time with them!
I love being creative, being outside, going on adventures and being in nature. I’m also pretty musical! I love the Montessori approach and enjoy learning more about it (when I get some time!), and have a passion for exploring alternative approaches to education. My son is at a Montessori school, and I love the independence it gives him. I’m passionate about being with children and allowing them to explore for themselves, especially outside, and love seeing the world through their eyes!
My Experience
As well as being mum to a bouncy 12 year old boy, I have lots of experience working with babies and primary aged children.
I am UK trained Primary Teacher, and have worked as a supply teacher in numerous schools, as well as private Tutoring, Mentoring, and Confidence Coaching with children aged 5-11, many of whom had multiple SEN, including Autism and ADHD.
I have nannied for a number of local families, some long term, some short term, including with a 10 month old for 18 months, and an 11 month old and 5 year old for regular after school pickup once a week for 3 years. I love going on adventures outdoors with the kids- mainly to the park!!
I have run two UK kids’ summer camps, worked on two summer camps in the USA, and taught in France for 1 month and Kenya for 4 months.
I now run NatureKids- Ofsted Registered, child led Holiday Clubs for primary aged children, in the woods at Stanmer Park and Lewes. This runs a few days a week in school holidays, so I am available term time (and possibly some holiday afternoons), as detailed below.
I'm fully Enhanced DBS cleared, Safeguarding Trained, and Paediatric First Aid qualified (2026).
I have developed a special fondness for tiny people, having had a tiny person of my own!

My Availability
UPDATE- 1st OCT 2026
As detailed above, I run NatureKids a few days a week in school holidays, so I'm ideally looking for a few half days a week, primarily in term time, with local families who are keen for their little one to go on adventures to the park/playground and potter around town and see the world!
I’m also available for ad hoc childcare/school pickups etc and evening babysitting (including overnights). Do text me if it’s short notice!
I'm based in Lewes, and available at short notice on some days. Do you get in touch if you need an extra pair of hands!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
Childcare from £20/hr daytimes. This includes Tax, NI, and Holiday Pay.
£16/hr evening babysitting.
Overnights negotiable.
I also offer Private tutoring, coaching and mentoring - rates tba.
