My Experience

I have 25 years of experience in childcare, with the last 10 years spent working in a central London primary school. I’m currently a Reception teacher, Early Years Leader, and part of the senior leadership team.
Before becoming a qualified teacher, I worked in a range of childcare roles including as a teaching assistant, nanny, childminder, and mother’s help. I also spent time working as a pastry chef, which sparked my continued love for baking with children.
Throughout my career, my expert knowledge of phonics has played a crucial role in helping children develop their reading and writing skills. I’m passionate about nurturing a love for reading in young children, guiding them through phonics-based learning to build confidence in their literacy skills.
This varied background has given me a deep understanding of child development, strong practical skills, and a calm, caring approach to working with families and young children.

My Qualifications

BA (Hons) in Education: Childhood and Youth Studies

PGCE (Qualified Teacher Status) – Kingston University

National Professional Qualification in Early Years Leadership (NPQEYL)

Currently completing the National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership (NPQSL)

My Availability

I’m available for evening and weekends babysitting/ tutoring. I may also be available during weekdays in school holidays—please feel free to message me to discuss your needs.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour

My babysitting rates are £20 per hour for evenings and weekends. I am also available for weekday babysitting during school holidays, with the same rate of £20 per hour.
For tutoring services, my rate is £40 per hour.
These fees reflect my extensive experience in childcare, qualifications as a teacher and Early Years Leader, and the high standard of care and support I provide.
