About Me

Hello, my name is Eden, I am 27 years old and I have nine years of experience working with children and have recently had my first baby 8 months ago. I am a kind and caring person who always goes the extra mile to help others, I have recently had my first child in June 2025 my maternity leave has now come to an end as of the 20th of February 2026.


I am looking for any Ad hoc babysitting so as of when but most importantly I am keen on finding a babysitting role with a family that is looking for something more permanent like twice or three days a week however it would have to be for when my partner gets back home from work to looking after our son which would be early afternoon. I am also looking for any clients that are open and happy for me to bring my son along with me to babysit to be on the safe side in case there were to be any occasions that I'd have to bring him with me but of course we can talk more about that if needs be.

I decided to finish my role as a teachers assistant to offer my own babysitting services instead in 2022. I have taken care of children of all ages, from as young as three months old, up to the age of 14 years old on weekdays and weekends. I have a full clean driving license and have access to my own vehicle. I charge £12.50 an hour, and I like to offer to visit before babysitting so that you and your children can get to know me a little better before anything is set in stone. I am happy for any DBS cheeks to be completed at the clients own expense. I also require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations.


For an example for two years I had taken a role to do the school run from 3:20 pm -5:30 pm so if you are looking for somebody to do the school run and or want your children taken care of afterwards until you get back home than that is something I have done and still offer. I have finished accommodating this family's needs now since the beginning of April 2025. Please do get in touch if you'd like any ad hoc babysitting, school pick-ups, school collections, babysitting on weekdays/weekends, or if you'd need me to stay overnight. it's important that you know that this will only take place in the comfort of your own home. No babysitting will be carried out in my home and will always be at the parents' house.


I can take your children to parks, farms, play centres, swimming, any other activities, after-school clubs, and or places for food such as McDonald's. A short summary of what I do outside of babysitting below:

A bit about me, and what I like to do outside of babysitting is being a creative person. I make wire wrap crystal jewellery such as rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and hair accessories for both children and adults. which I attend craft fairs all around South wales and Cornwall. I also work for the Council in Cowbridge doing the odd workshop here and there teaching people how to make their very own unique jewellery. My handmade jewellery is also in two shops where it's available to purchase.

Jewellery making has also come into play with babysitting, so if you have children who love to wear jewellery or enjoy making jewellery, I am more than happy to bring my tools and crystals along with me and we can have a jewellery making session whilst in my care.
