About Me

Hello, my name is Eden, I am 27 years old and I have ten years of experience working with children of the age of 0-15 years old. I have recently had my first baby 10 months ago in June 2025 so I have a lot of hands on experience of taking care of a baby. I am a kind and caring person who always goes the extra mile to help others, My maternity leave had come to an end as of the 20th of February 2026.


I am keen on looking for a babysitting role three or four times a week in the afternoons and or evenings. I am open to any ad hoc babysitting which is as of when kinda thing. I can take your children to parks, farms, play centres, swimming, any other activities, and places for sit down food such as McDonald's. Please do feel free to get in touch and message me with details of what you'd be requiring, such as dates and times, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I have a full clean drivers license and access to my own vehicle, I charge £12.60 an hour and I require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations. I like to offer to meet with yourself and your children before any babysitting is set in stone so that your family and I can get to know eachother a bit more and to answer any questions that we may have. we can meet either at the clients house where I'd play games with your children whilst we chat or meet at a cafe/park.


I am happy for any DBS checks to be completed at the clients own expense, reason for this is because there is no guarantee that purchasing a DBS cheek that the potential client would then hire me.
I did the school run for a family for two years from 3:20pm - 5:30pm and I have experience working in nurserys, primary schools, secondary schools and learning disability schools aswell as being a community support worker working with children with autism.


I decided to finish my role as a teachers assistant to offer my own babysitting services instead in 2022 and I have loved every minute of it. Please do get in touch if you'd like any ad hoc babysitting, school pick-ups (depending on location) babysitting on weekdays/weekends, or if you'd need me to stay overnight. it's important that you know that any babysitting will only take place in the comfort of your own home or out and about doing fun activities. No babysitting will be carried out in my home and will always be at the parents' house.

A short summary of what I do outside of babysitting below:

A bit about me, and what I like to do outside of babysitting is being a creative person. I make wire wrap crystal jewellery such as rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and hair accessories for both children and adults. which I attend craft fairs all around South wales and Cornwall. I also work for the Council in Cowbridge doing the odd workshop here and there teaching people how to make their very own unique jewellery. My handmade jewellery is also in two shops where it's available to purchase in Cowbridge craft hub and Reverie bargoed shop.

Jewellery making has also come into play with babysitting, so if you have children who love to wear jewellery or enjoy making jewellery, I am more than happy to bring my tools and crystals along with me and we can have a jewellery making session whilst in my care.
