My Experience

I have 9 years of experience working with children, with experience across a variety of childcare, educational and community settings. I am a caring, patient and reliable person who genuinely enjoys helping children feel happy, safe, confident and encouraged to be themselves.

Although I have experience with children of all ages, I am now particularly interested in working with school-age children, especially around 4–10 years old. I love the fun, creative and curious nature of this age and enjoy finding activities that keep children engaged while also helping them learn, explore and develop their confidence.

Over the years I have worked as a babysitter and nanny, set up and run toddler and homeschooling groups, worked in residential youth clubs, helped run school holiday clubs, volunteered as a nursery assistant, and provided care and support for children with additional needs and learning disabilities.

I particularly enjoy bringing a creative and personal approach to childcare. I believe childcare doesn’t always have to mean sitting in front of a screen or simply following a routine. I enjoy coming up with age-appropriate activities, crafts, games, outdoor adventures, imaginative play and opportunities for children to discover things that interest them.

I have a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People (RQF) and Paediatric First Aid training, as well as a DBS check.

I have been driving for 7 years and have my own car, which means I can also help with school runs, activities, outings and other adventures where appropriate.

My aim is to provide childcare that is safe, nurturing, fun and creative, while giving parents peace of mind that their children are being cared for by someone experienced, responsible and genuinely passionate about working with children.

* TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People (RQF)
* Paediatric First Aid – completed to childcare registration requirements
* Level 1 Carer Certificate
* DBS checked
* References available from previous employers, along with character references

I am committed to providing safe, caring and professional childcare and to continuing to develop my knowledge and skills through further training and experience.

My Availability

I currently have good availability during the week and am happy to discuss regular or occasional childcare arrangements.

My availability is flexible and I am happy to work with families to find days and times that suit us both. I do like to keep some days and time aside for my own personal commitments, so my availability can vary from week to week.

I am particularly interested in regular childcare arrangements, but I am also happy to consider occasional babysitting depending on my availability.

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

* 1 child: £14/hour
* 2 children: £17/hour
* 3 children: £20/hour
* 4 children: £23/hour
