About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder. Ever since I was young I loved working with kids. I believe the way we raise and look after children will determine the way they are when they grow up. After all, they are our next generation. I know how distressing it is for a parent to leave their child and go to work with the constant fear and worry about how their child is doing. Giving a parent peace of mind is my number one priority! I love watching children grow up and become these amazing people. I remember a time, the little girl I was babysitting, was very distressed. I calmed her down by singing to her. We made paper boats together and watched them float in the water. The little girl was very happy and came the next day with a smile on her face!
My Experience
I have been looking after children ever since I was 20. First, I worked in a school for a couple of years as a dinner lady, then a few years later I had my own children. My children are now all grown up. My friends and family sometimes tell me to look after their children. Recently, I have looked after a little girl since she was a baby and now is 6 years of age. Currently, I am looking after 3 children from aged 2 to 8. I look after them in the evenings but I am free before school in the mornings and all day on the weekends. In the future, I am looking towards fostering children.
My Qualifications
I have a diploma in childcare with lots of experience. I also have had a DBS check and I have completed both a first aid course and have trained to be a nanny.
