About Me
I live in the Wavertree area with my 2 son’s and small dog. I take minded children out to Playgroups, Parks, sign language group, & days out consist of Knowsley Safari Park & the beach.
As long as the children are safe & happy we will learn together.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for the last 23 years. I have recently had 4 months break to concentrate on speech & language with children & I have gained a lot of experience within this subject. I am now back to childminding, therefore have a few spaces at the moment. I have lots of experience with all ages from babies through to top junior (age 11 years), also good experience with twins. My qualifications go up to level 4 in childcare & I am ofsted registered with a good.
My Qualifications
First aid, Child protection, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, EYFS, Speech & Language Plus many more.
My Availability
Monday’s. Wednesday’s, Thursday’s & Friday’s. Term time only from 2026.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
£50 per day or I except the funded hours
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs at Mosspits Lane Primary School

Joanne is an incredible childminder. She is warm, calm and approachable and my little one was instantly comfortable in her home from his first visit.
Her setting is great; safe, clean and bright, with a great selection of toys and books, that the children have free access to.
Joanne sends regular updates and pictures during the day and my little one always looks happy and relaxed. Her communication and openness make asking questions easy, and I am always reassured she has the right approach.
Joanne was so flexible with settling in and I really felt that she had my little one's best interests at heart and had a great approach that worked for him, which was very reassuring right from the start.
Now my little one is settled with her (which happened so quickly!) he runs in every morning and is happy to see me go. He loves his trips to the playgroups and parks and gets on well with the other children Joanne minds. He comes home happy each day, tired from his many adventures. It's clear she creates a great atmosphere for all the children and that they feel safe and cared for with her.
My little one sleeps and eats well with Joanne because he is comfortable and happy, and her communication in ensuring this has been fantastic.
I can't recommend her enough.

Joanne is an amazing, kind, professional individual. I fell in love with her setting the very first day I visited. The children she was already minding loved her and seemed really happy. My 2 and a half year old daughter was there for only a few minutes and she already became very comfortable with Joanne and the setting so much so that she didn't want to go when we were leaving. My daughter is a very picky eater but Joanne was able to make her try new things. She also took regular naps, which she didn't like to do at home and was always excited going to the park with Joanne.
Joanne would frequently send pictures and videos to us to keep us informed of how the day was going with our daughter. That was quite reassuring. Her communication was superb. She would instantly respond to messages from us and was flexible whenever we were running slightly late to pick up our daughter.
