Hello mums and dads! I have 14 years of professional childcare experience, working as a qualified primary school teacher, teaching assistant, private tutor and nanny. I have a current DBS and first aid certificate. I am also Ofsted registered and have excellent checkable references.
I'm currently looking for a full-time or four-day-a-week, permanent nanny job from September 2020.
Throughout my career I have demonstrated that I am organised, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, responsible, flexible and enthusiastic to do my job to the highest possible standard. I have excellent communication skills, high energy levels and I am very adaptable to different working environments. I love working with children and I am completely committed to meeting the needs of the children in my care; keeping them safe, healthy, educated and happy. As a qualified and experienced early years teacher, I have the skills to prepare your child for a nursery or school environment and build firm foundations for their education. Your child’s days will be packed full of exciting activities to promote learning through play in all areas of development. I enjoy exploring beautiful National Trust gardens, attending classes and play dates, as well as organising games and creative activities at home. I am able to support homework within a nanny role and communicate effectively with parents and teachers.
I believe in a positive, consistent, firm and fair approach to behaviour. Teaching and modelling good manners and respect are very important to me.
I also offer tuition for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children. All tuition at the moment is over Zoom.
I have worked as a qualified primary school teacher for six years (in Reception, Year 1 and 2); a teaching assistant for one year; and a nanny for seven years, with various wonderful families in London and Kent. I have experience working with children from newborn to 11 years old.
Further details of my experience and qualifications are available in my CV, so please get in contact and I can send it to you. Also, I can offer excellent references and give contact details for current/ previous employers.
I have a PGCE in Primary Education (age 3-7) and Qualified Teacher Status, a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a BTEC Diploma in Art and Design.
I have recently completed an intensive paediatric first aid course, I have an up-to-date DBS certificate and I am Ofsted registered.
I have a clear driver's licence and my own car.
I have completed several training courses while working as a teacher; including Literacy, phonics, writing, singing, special needs, safe-guarding and numeracy courses.
I'm currently looking for a full-time or four-day-a-week (preferably Tuesday-Friday) nanny job from September 2020. I can only do full-days, not wrap-around school care, for financial reasons.
