About Me
Hello! I’m a 26 year old qualified early years pracitioner and primary school teacher currently and looking for a nannying/babysitting job in Sheffield. I’m a very warm and joyful person with a passion for working with children. My most recent childcare job has been as a senior practitioner at a woodland early years kindergarten and I love getting outdoors with the little ones! I am a big believer in inclusivity and celebrating differences and that’s something I like to encourage the children that I work with! On a personal side I am really into painting and a big book lover and also used to hold an after school art club getting children as creative as they can by creating their own artwork and getting that imagination out of them! I’m looking to working for a family that I can be a part of and make a strong trusted life long connection with.
My Experience
I have finished my most recent post as an early years practitioner caring for children from 12 months to 5 years. Here, I got to be outdoors everyday with the children, including being trained in safer sleep, prepping meals and 1:1 caring for the children from the morning all the way until the evening, taking care of them during naps and on trips out to the city. I also have been a primary school teacher and graduated with a Primary PGDE at the University of Edinburgh. I have also been a 1:1 SEN primary school teaching assistant and have worked with children with with autism and ADHD. I’ve got an undergraduate degree in education and I have been doing childcare for 6+ years for babies of 2 months-13 years old for several families. I am looking for work at the moment and I can be very flexible at the moment. I am also a big animal lover so I am fine with cats and dogs and can even care for animals during my child-care jobs. I am happy to help with housework and make life more manageable for you whilst providing the best care and love for your children.
