About Me

Hello, I’m Tilly! I’m an experienced and professional nanny with over seven years of childcare experience, specialising particularly in newborns, babies and young children. Alongside childcare, I also have over three years’ experience supporting busy families with household management and Family PA responsibilities.

I pride myself on being warm, nurturing and highly dependable, while also being proactive and organised. My aim is to become a trusted extension of the family — someone parents can feel completely comfortable relying on, knowing their children are happy, safe and well cared for, while the household is kept running smoothly.

I believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood, encouraged and genuinely listened to. I take the time to get to know each child’s personality, interests and individual routine, while creating a fun, calm and nurturing environment where they can learn and develop at their own pace.

I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities around each child’s interests, including arts and crafts, messy and sensory play, baking, creative learning, reading and outdoor adventures. I particularly enjoy creating activities that naturally support children’s confidence, communication, independence and development while still allowing them plenty of opportunity for fun and exploration.

I also value a healthy balance of indoor and outdoor time and love taking children out to explore parks, woods, nature and local activities.

I am also very comfortable working in homes with pets and genuinely enjoy being around animals.

I also have experience supporting home learning and homeschooling, creating structured and engaging activities appropriate to each child’s age and developmental stage. I am confident planning learning activities around the EYFS and supporting children’s academic, social and emotional development in an enjoyable and age-appropriate way.

I have over four years of professional experience supporting children with SEND and have developed a particularly patient, calm and adaptable approach to childcare. I understand that every child is different and that routines, communication and activities may need to be adapted to suit their individual needs.

My experience includes supporting children with ADHD, ADD and autism spectrum conditions, including structured routines, sensory activities, emotional regulation, positive behaviour support and encouraging independence.

Alongside childcare, I have over three years’ experience working as a Household Manager, Housekeeper and Family PA, supporting busy families with the practical organisation of day-to-day family life.

My experience includes diary and schedule management, arranging appointments and activities, school and nursery administration, liaising with schools and external professionals, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, errands, laundry, wardrobe organisation and maintaining tidy, organised living spaces.

I am naturally proactive and enjoy noticing what needs doing rather than waiting to be asked. My aim is to take practical tasks off parents’ plates and help make family life feel easier, calmer and more organised.

I really enjoy cooking and baking and have experience preparing healthy, family-friendly meals and supporting baby-led weaning. I’m happy to incorporate meal preparation into my role where required, from preparing children’s meals and snacks to helping with family dinners.

Families can expect me to be reliable, discreet, organised and proactive, with a genuine commitment to getting to know each child and understanding their individual personality, needs and routine.

I believe communication with parents is incredibly important and always aim to keep families informed while respecting their parenting style, routines and preferences.
