About Me
Hi, I'm Meg! I have had nearly 2 years of experience within a busy Montessori Nursery setting whilst studying towards my Level 2 childcare qualification. I've always loved looking after children and planning fun activities - being able to watch them grow, thrive and become more confident is the most rewarding feeling! I enjoy taking walks in nature, listening to music and I love animals (so, I am completely open to pets)! I am looking to spread my wings and become a full-time nanny.
My Experience
I have been working in a Montessori nursery setting for nearly 2 years with children ranging from 4 months to 5 years old. I began in this nursery as an apprentice in a room with 18-month-olds to 2 year olds. I have also had a leadership role within this nursery for the past 9 months, specialising with children 2 years and upwards.
I have a lot of experience with children throughout my life as I have 10 nieces and nephews ranging from newborn to 12 years old whom I look after every now and then. I have close experience with children with autism and behavioural struggles.
I have always had experience with caring for others as my mother is epileptic and had frequent seizures throughout my life growing up - learning to know what to do in a sudden emergency situation.
My Qualifications
I am fully first aid trained. I have level 2 food and hygiene. I have level 2 safeguarding and have been given some Montessori training.
I am just awaiting confirmation of my Level 2 Childcare completion.
My Availability
I currently work full-time within my nursery setting but I am looking to become a full-time nanny Monday-Friday.
