My Requirements

We are a young professional family in search of a reliable, friendly and happy Nanny that would fit well into our little family.

We are looking to make use of the 15 hours we have left of our funding towards nannying and occasional babysitting. We aren’t oblivious to the fact that the government do not pay your rate, so we would top it up.

Basically we would agree a work pattern, establish how much the local authority pay and then add up the cost minus the amount paid by the government and we will pay the difference. We may ask you if you want to come on holidays with us. Normally we would pay for your trip, food and drink; with some childcare in return (we aren’t stupid and appreciate you don’t want to spend your week looking after kids non stop) we you would have your own room obviously (no weird stuff happening here).

There maybe some weeks we do not need you but you wouldn’t not be out of pocket. And we would make sure you are covered.

In the most likely scenario we are looking for some Friday or Saturday babysitting every other week and and a whole day Friday on the off week. If that makes sense.

We have our own businesses but looking to make the most of government funding to see how we make childcare work for us.
