About Me

Hi! I am a 28 year old SEN teaching assistant with multiple years experience working at a special needs summer camp. As the nature director/ arts and crafts director I created and delivered several fun and educational to children aged 7-17 with and without special needs. I have a bachelors degree in Educational Psychology and someday hope to become a play therapist. Outside of the education system I have babysat/ tutored several children whose families can provide references upon request. I currently work in a SEND school in Liverpool and as a personal assistant for a little boy with autism on the weekends. I have a rolling DBS on the update service and have provided pet and house care services alongside childcare so can also provide this service. I have no drivers license but am willing to commute and open to enquiries so please message me, I am sure we can figure something out!

My Experience

As an arts and crafts director/nature director of a summer camp for 3 years I facilitated many outdoor programs such as fishing, den building and campfires along with multiple arts and crafts activities while keeping the children in my care safe and happy. Through my current work as a SEND TA in a special school I also have experience with a variety of special needs such as Autism, ADHD and PMLD.

My Qualifications

A 2:1 bachelors degree in Educational Psychology

A Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate (TEFL)

A child and adolescent safeguarding certificate

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My fees would depend on the level of support needed/how many children but I generally charge £12 per hour. However I am willing to negotiate pay rate after a chat with you.
