About Me
I’m currently looking for part time role on a Friday all day
My goal as a nanny is to take care of children, help them grow and watch them have fun! I am highly organised and efficient in my duties and understand the importance of reliability and punctuality. I love that when working as a nanny every day is a new adventure, from walking in the park to find fairies to quiet time reading or building a den in focus, with lots of fun and laughter thrown in to. I have experience with weaning and potty training and have assisted children in the transition to school. My current roles long term and I have developed a connection with the families.I am fully DBS checked and am a fully trained paediatric first aider as well as a level 3 nannying qualification. I have a genuine love for children and a passion for young learners and am ambitious in my goals to be a specialist in early childhood care and education. I have worked with children for 6 years which started when I began assisting at a dance school with children’s classes. Classes are run for children aged 1-14 in which I have gained experience in communication with different ages and fostered a safe environment for them all. I have experience working with SEN children where I had to exercise skills in patience, de-escalation and communication. I have almost 3 years experience in childcare including babysitting and nannying. I currently work for two families, one with a 24 month old who I have been with since she was 10 months old, and the other family with a 2 and 4.5 year old who I have been with since they were 10 months and 2 years old. I have also previously worked for 2 other families, one G3, and another G 7months .I provide a child friendly environment with engaging activities and continuous access to the outdoors. I support the school curriculum through activities at home such as reading, writing, and counting. I create healthy and kid friendly snacks and meals for school lunches and after school dinners. I keep a bedtime routine to ensure that the children were relaxed before bed and have time to wind down. Routines help take the stress out of bedtime for kids and help make it a happy time. Working late has also been included to support the parent's work schedules. I also have experience in caring for pets, dogs, cats and small furies are the only animals I have experience with but can be comfortable with all animals.
