About Me
I am an experienced nanny and a mama to 4 (now grown). I have full PVG clearance, my own transport, flexibility and many years experience in childcare.
As a family we have travelled and lived overseas for many years but are now settled in Glasgow.
I am hugely interested in child development and have utilised many Montessori and Steiner educational philosophies with great success within the home while bringing up my own children and in my work of being a nanny. I have worked with several pre-school Steiner and Montessori groups while traveling in New Zealand and later living in Bath. I love being outdoors, nature, art, photography, music and travel.
I believe in the importance of outdoor play and encourage a love and respect for nature through fun and creative activities.

I believe and model the values of respecting and nurturing the whole child, creating daily rhythms that align with their interests and developmental stages.
I am meticulously organised in terms of planning, organisation and implementing activities in a safe, clean and creative environment to maximise confidence and independent learning. This has been acknowledged throughout my teaching career.
I have worked in both primary and secondary schools and have navigated my own children through Spanish, International, British and home schooling systems. I understand that each family is unique and ever changing and I am confident that I can meet those challenges with support and kindness at all times. I am happy to prepare nutritious meals, do school/nursery runs, help with projects/homework and light child related household duties. Craft, music and cognitive activities alongside outings to museums, galleries, libraries, parks and play groups are incorporated into our days. Please contact me for any inquiries. Caroline has been looking after our wee one since she turned one - 1.5 years now - and she’s been the main reason we’ve survived the crazy juggle of work and parenthood til now! She’s been adaptable and flexible throughout, keeps our daughter engaged and happy and gives her new and valuable experiences every week.
She’s been able to very quickly learn and adapt to our daughter’s additional needs (deafness) and deal with the ever-changing practicalities that come with this. She’s attentive to every detail of our daughter’s routine, her quirks (and ours) and is always accommodating and judgement-free.
She’s helped with everything from hospital appointments to potty training, and has formed a really beautiful bond with our daughter. We will all miss you Caroline!

I almost gave up on leaving a review because the system only allows five ⭐️ Caroline has looked after our daughter for the past year and a half. And yet it never felt like she was ‘working’ for us. She's replaced the lack of support my wife and I have from our families being the most caring and thoughtful a nanny could possibly be. Our daughter loves her as much as she loves us and we have no shame in saying that. She will be forever in our hearts and our daughter's memories as someone who taught her so much in such a short time. We had to unfortunately leave Caroline as we are relocating overseas. But we want to make sure she will find another family who will treat her as part of their family too. Thank you for coming into our lives, Caroline.

Caroline has been looking after our little girl for a year and a half. She is the coolest human being with the biggest heart. A fantastic mum first and it’s why she does this so well. We are moving away and wish we could take her with us. She will be unmatched we are so sad to be saying goodbye. Gigi will miss your cooking and park walks and all your cool toys and yhoko :( we love you Caroline ☮️ ❤️
