About Me
I am an experienced nanny and a mama to 4.
(Now grown) I have a BA (hons) degree from GSA and a PGCE (art and design) I have full PVG clearance, own transport, flexible and many years experience in childcare.
As a family we have travelled and lived abroad for many years but are now settled in Glasgow. I am hugely interested in child development, having utilised many Montessori and Steiner educational philosophies with great success within the home while bringing up my own children and in my work of being a nanny.
I worked closely with several pre-school Steiner and Montessori groups while traveling in New Zealand and later living in Bath. I love art, photography, music and travel. Being outdoors, walking and cycling. I believe in the importance of outdoor play and encourage a love and respect for nature through fun and creative activities.
My Experience
I have many years experience of life, childcare and working in arts education. I am meticulously organised in terms of planning, organisation and implementing activities in a safe, clean and creative environment to maximise confidence and independent learning. This has been acknowledged throughout my teaching career. I have worked in both primary and secondary schools and navigated my own children through Spanish, International, British and home schooling systems. This has made me acutely aware that each family is unique, everchanging and come with their own specific requirements. I am confident that I will meet these demands with professionalism, compassion and kindness at all times.
I believe and model the values of respecting and nurturing the whole child.
I am happy to prepare nutritious meals, do school/nursery runs, help with homework and projects. (I have experience in working with dyslexia) light child related household duties and implementing trips to museums, galleries, libraries, parks and play groups etc Please contact me for any inquiries. We had the most wonderful experience with Caroline as our nanny.
We relocated temporarily to Glasgow for work and Caroline was so amazing with our daughter - she was warm, kind and creative with her. And we felt so comfortable leaving her with Caroline and our daughter loved spending time her.
She has a vast amount of experience and helped us immensely with some of Frankie’s additional needs.

Caroline has been amazing for our family just when we needed it. I had to relocate to Glasgow for work and we needed childcare for 6 months before our children could start nursery. Caroline looked after our 3 young boys so myself and my wife to continue with our careers. Caroline clearly has vast amounts of experience with childcare but most importantly the boys were always happy to be with her. Caroline helped us to settle into our new lives giving us peace of mind with the children.

We spent a week in Glasgow for a work conference and Caroline took care of our 16 months old child. It was a pleasure to work with her. She was really profesional, and it was very easy to communicate with her and plan the week. She's also very experienced with children. From the first day, our child didn't want to come back to us after a day with her.
