Registered Childminder Job In London Borough Of Southwark
About Me
I am currently seeking a nanny to care for my 7 year old daughter, who is my only child. My daughter last had a nanny in 2019 but her nanny was unable to continue caring for her as she wanted to further her education.
My Requirements
I am looking for a DBS checked and Ofsted registered (Ad-hoc/part-time/full-time) nanny who is available to begin in the next few weeks. I will arrange paid taster days to begin with to ensure that you and my daughter are acquainted beforehand and happy with the arrangement.
I would like a nanny who is available to drop off/pick up my daughter from school and who is available on some weekends as well as the school holidays. However, weekends are not a necessity. .
On most days, once my daughter has been picked up I would require her to be babysat at home until I return from work.
She will be washed and dressed beforehand and her meals are prepared by myself in advance.
My daughter attends after school club so her pick up time is 6pm and can also attend breakfast club at 7:45am if needed.
On weekends or the holidays it would be nice for her to be taken to the park, museum or on a local trip, (which I will cover the cost of) before being dropped off at 6pm.
I am happy to pay the nanny a fixed minimum rate if their minimum required hours are not met. I work flexible hours so I do not require a nanny everyday. Moreover, I would inform the nanny of my hours in advance and seek their consent

Delane has been looking after my 10 year old daughter since September 2025 after her previous childminder retired. My daughter loves attending and regularly asks me when she's going next because she enjoys being around the other children in attendance and enjoys the activities that they do. My daughter loves the food that Delane provides and Delane has always catered to her dietary requirements. My daughter only has positive things to say about Delane. The setting is always clean and Delane is welcoming. When I asked my daughter what she personally wanted to add to this review she said "she's good with kids and understands feelings". I have peace of mind when my daughter is with her.

My daughter enjoys her time here. She has nothing but positive things to say about the facilities, childminder and children. I felt at ease from day 1 and plan to continue using their services.
